THINGS I NOTICED - THE END ... There are no words, really ... Nothing I can say here will compare to the thoughts, feelings, and rush of emotions I'm sure everyone is going through right now ... For us the ride has finally ended ... The lap bar has come up ... There's nothing left to do now but stagger away from LOST's roller coaster, move forward, and try to burn the amazing image of this six-year ride into our hearts and minds forever ... I've often said that LOST is a perspective-based

Oh Lost, how you wound me. You tear out my heart and strap it to some C-4, leaving it inside a sinking submarine ... Even now, hours after my initial viewing, I'm still in shock, and more than a little depressed. Just Sayid dying would have been a tragedy in and of itself, without the even sadder Jin and Sun exit to top it off. Throw in Frank's demise (yes? maybe? too soon to call?), and I just can't take it ... Still, I have to hand it to the writers. They sure know how to make me
THINGS I NOTICED - The Candidate ... In case it hadn't occurred to you yet, The Candidate was a slap-in-the-face reminder of one sure thing: the end is drawing near ... It had thrills, chills, chaos and death, but it also had a pace that worked really well for how quickly it advanced the storyline ... Also, for the first time in a while, there was a solid balance between on and off island ... maybe because the alternate timeline scenes were totally excellent this week ... Things I Noticed: ...

NOTE: These were initially posted a couple of days ago, but they seemed to cause some glitch on the site because of the code used. So we had to remove them, but they are back! So enjoy the double recap from Anna ... Dear Readers: ... In the interest playing catch up, I have combined my take on “Happily Ever After” and “Everybody Loves Hugo” together into this single article ... Thanks so much for everyone who has been asking about the recaps. I hope once you read this you will find it
THINGS I NOTICED - DR. LINUS ... In past seasons, an episode like Dr. Linus would be considered "filler" ... Although it succeeded in advancing the storyline, it didn't deliver the raw action of Sundown or provide the startling answers associated with The Substitute and Lighthouse ... Still, neither of those things mattered much ... This week's episode was stolen away by the amazing acting of Michael Emerson, in both the ALT and on-island timelines ... Things I Noticed: ... Lo There Do I
Hey All, ... Late yesterday Anna posted her recap of last week's Episode 6x03 What Kate Does, but with all the chaos of last night's episode we never got it posted here ... I am sure most of you want recaps for last night's wonderful episode, but this is still a good read! ... Enjoy! ... I sincerely apologize for the delay getting this out to you all ... Although I can’t time travel (yet) as I’d like to, I suppose it’s better late than never! ... INTRO: Bad Idea ... While it may not have
When it comes to good and evil, the characters of Lost have always been harder to pin down than the symbolism surrounding them ... Take, for example, the scales in the Cliffside Cave, where a black rock and a white rock balance each other out, eternally opposed. So of course, Flocke immediately grabs the white rock and chucks it into the ocean. The symbolism may be obvious, but Flocke's ideological alignment? Not so much ... I for one believe that our friend Flocke is evil, is in fact the very
"I'm very disappointed with all of you." - the Man in Black ... Truly loving Lost means we have to be honest when it misses the mark. And this episode, my friends, was a dud. While Kate episodes aren't known for being the finest hours of the show, this one was particularly distasteful due to some especially uninteresting subplots and irritating character motivations ... How bad was it? Does it truly belong in the company of "Fire + Water" and "Expose"? Was it the next "Stranger in a Strange
